Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to Alaz. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Alaz web and mobile application (the “Service”), available at the domains alaz.pe and alaz.es and their subdomains. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • User: Any individual who accesses or uses the Service.

  • Alaz: Refers to the company that owns and operates the application and the domains alaz.pe and alaz.es.

  • Service: Refers to the application and the functionalities provided by Alaz.

  • Authentication Provider: Refers to third-party platforms that allow the User to authenticate, such as Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Apple, LinkedIn, or others.

2. Use of the Service

  1. The Service is intended for lawful personal or corporate use, in line with the purpose of the application.

  2. The User agrees not to use the Service for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities that may infringe upon the rights of others.

  3. Access to the Service may require authentication through third-party Authentication Providers, in which case the privacy policies and usage terms of such providers also apply.

3. Accounts and Authentication

  1. Certain features of the Service may require the User to authenticate using third-party Authentication Providers (e.g., Google OAuth2, Meta, Apple, LinkedIn, etc.).

  2. By authenticating with an external provider, the User authorizes Alaz to receive only the minimum information necessary to create and validate their profile, as permitted by the provider’s policies.

  3. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for any activity carried out under their account.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

  1. Alaz collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at alaz.es/privacy-policy.

  2. The Service complies with applicable data protection regulations.

  3. When authenticating through an external provider, Alaz only accesses the information strictly necessary to provide the Service (for example: email address, name, and profile picture).

5. Intellectual Property

  1. All content, trademarks, logos, interfaces, software, and designs of the Service are the property of Alaz or its licensors.

  2. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any of these without prior written authorization from Alaz is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Service is used at the User’s own risk.

  2. Alaz does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service and is not responsible for temporary interruptions, technical failures, or data loss.

  3. In no event shall Alaz be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

7. Modifications

Alaz reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page along with their effective date.

8. Termination

Alaz may suspend or terminate a User’s access to the Service if they fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions or misuse the Service.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the city of Lima.
